Coventry Building Society – Oxford

Barnwood have carried out various branch refurbishments for Coventry Building Society and have had the opportunity to work closely with them to develop a new acquisition branch in the prominent city centre location of Oxford.

The new Oxford branch proved challenging due to access and delivery restrictions, adjoining properties on three sides of the unit and tight time frames.

The branch was spread over multiple floors and consisted of a major strip-out, extensive fire protection works and layout / structural alterations.

Specific project works included new bespoke timber shopfront, auto doors and security glazing to tight planning and heritage restrictions. Internal works saw new specialist security features installed along with bespoke joinery / furniture. Full decorations, ceilings, and floor finishes to Coventry Building Society’s latest design standards were also complete.
