Anthropologie, Oxford

Barnwood Shopfitting & Interiors division were appointed principal contractor to carry out a strip out and refurbishment of an existing, vacant unit for Anthropologie, in the High Street Oxford.

Working closely with the Principal Designers, AMD Interior, we were able to transform the space with some minor strip out works and removal of existing walls opening up blocked window bed and the introduction of period panelling – a “nod” to the buildings historic value. The first-floor ceiling was opened up to create a large atrium, exposing four skylights and four large windows, allowing natural light to flood through.

Bespoke joinery manufactured within Barnwood’s joinery workshop and intricate decoration undertaken by Barnwood’s directly employed decorators completed the unique interior.
