Eddie Butler Performance Centre, Haberdashers’ Monmouth School

This project involved the transformation of an existing infant school building into a modern health and fitness facility.

The refurbished space now includes dedicated staff areas, a welcoming foyer, and two specialist gym environments: a strength and conditioning suite, alongside a performance gym with a separate spin studio. The facility is supported by male, female and accessible changing areas, as well as public amenities.

Externally, new plant areas were introduced, with comprehensive mechanical and electrical installations delivered throughout the building.

This was a complex programme of works, incorporating the demolition of existing classrooms, the introduction of new structural floors to support the gym spaces, and a full internal fit-out. The project was successfully delivered within a 20-week programme.
