Faraday Court – Fitzpatrick Referrals, University of Surrey

This new veterinary clinic, specialising in the treatment of small animals, is occupied by Fitzpatrick Referrals Limited, who lease the building from the University of Surrey. The building is regularly featured in the TV show ‘Super Vet’.

The building was designed as a self-contained two-storey unit, approximately 15,000sq.ft for use as research, development offices and laboratories.

The building was constructed with a steel frame on piled foundations with lightweight concrete floor and roof structures. Also incorporated was the proprietary aluminium panel cladding system with glazed units and curtain walling. The flat roof accommodated internal and external plant rooms. A lift was also incorporated to the tenant’s requirements. The building achieved BREEAM Very Good.
