Pittville School Sports Hall, Cheltenham

Our Construction division has recently completed works at Pittville School in Cheltenham, creating a new sports and community facility for the school and wider community.

The development includes a four-court sports hall, dance studio, fitness suite and changing facilities, alongside:

• Re-profiling of the existing sports field
• A new visitor car park
• Upgraded landscaping, footpaths and all-weather pitches
• Mechanical and electrical works throughout

 

Sustainability was also considered throughout the design, with features including a vast array of solar PV panels, low U-value building fabric, carefully detailed construction to achieve low air permeability, and a natural ventilation strategy where possible. These measures help create an efficient, future-ready facility for the school.

 

The project has been a real highlight for our team, with students and staff at Pittville School involved throughout the process. From the groundbreaking ceremony and site tours to learning more about the different stages of construction, it has been great to see the project provide opportunities for the next generation to get a closer look at the industry.
