The Great Tythe Barn – Tetbury

Starting in October 2024, our team has worked hard to refurbish this beautiful historic building. Given its listed status, the project involved traditional construction methods, including lime work, natural stone walling, stone roof repairs, and lime repointing.

We also used specialist timber engineering techniques to repair the main thresher door beams, which had been damaged by wet rot and infested with death watch beetle.

The team carried out a full refurbishment of the existing doors, bar area, and toilet facilities, introducing a modern and sleek design to align perfectly with the client’s vision.
