Whitemead Forest Park

Barnwood carried out the refurbishment of the central facilities building. The project was part of a large scheme which will be addressed in phases of manageable construction work over several years in order to reach the desired goals of the business.
The previous building was tired and its layout inefficient and didn’t meet the core customer’s needs; the refurbishment works looked to address these operational and aesthetic issues as well as increase customer dwell time.

Areas included for improvement in the first phase were; the bar areas, seating areas, a food service area and events space. A new shop was integrated into the scheme as well as an expanded guest service.

A comprehensive mechanical and electrical services overhaul created better environmental conditions as well as enhance the customer experience through technology.
