WHSmith New Concept, North Terminal, Gatwick

This project for our long standing client WHSmith was for their new concept within Gatwick Airport, South Terminal.

Execution of this exciting store design involved working closely with WHSmith, Wanda and the POS suppliers to develop the design scheme from concept to manufacture to ensure both the design intent and functional requirements were met.
Barnwood manufactured a wide range of bespoke joinery for this project, from the perimeter system and gondola displays to point of sale items in the form of the iconic London bus! Alongside meeting the visual and functional requirements – all our joinery items also met the airport restrictions of achieving Class 0 finish.

With our experience of working within the airport environment we are able to implement this scheme successfully while also meeting the challenging time frame for store launch.
